About Spunky Pineapple

Designing and merchandising have always been passions of mine so when I finished my university degree in merchandising, I went to work as a merchandiser at the headquarters of a large national retail chain. I learned a lot working for a big chain but along the way I always kept the idea of starting my own business. In early 2015, I decided to take a screen printing class to learn more about the apparel decorating process as well as the industry. From there I purchased all the equipment I needed and took some of my design ideas and opened up a small Etsy shop (and Amazon too). Back then I was designing, printing and packing orders from the loft in my home.  

I quickly outgrew the loft space and decided I needed a dedicated space for the business. I leased a small space in a building and went to work. A couple years later we outgrew that space and before I knew it I had leased a 5,500 square foot space and was selling hundreds of shirts a day to customers all over the US, as well as some international shipments.  

Today we continue to grow every year and I am happy to say I have a great team of ladies working with me everyday to run the Spunky Pineapple (and children’s brand Little Spunkies) business of designing, printing, packing and shipping orders! I really love what I do and we have so many great customers that it really makes the stresses of running my own business worthwhile.
